Roederer grow the fruit for it themselves, drawn from a small number of their oldest parcels, and the blend is pinot noir led with chardonnay behind it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is lighter on its feet than the price suggests — dry, finely strung, citrus and white orchard fruit over a chalky line, with a fine and persistent bead. Serve it cool rather than ice cold, in a white wine glass instead of a flute, and give it a few minutes in the glass.
