Prosecco DOC from the Veneto, which is the appellation the Australian versions are named after.

We stock it because it is number nine in the state and the only imported prosecco to rank, and because a customer comparing King Valley to the original should be able to do it in one order.

Prosecco from north-eastern Italy, made from the glera grape in the tank method — which is why prosecco tastes fresher and more fruit-driven than champagne, and costs a good deal less.

Green apple and pear with white floral notes and a soft, persistent bead. Off-dry rather than bone dry. Serve very cold as an aperitif, with antipasto, or as the base of a spritz or a mimosa.
