Made at Destiladora San Nicolás in Los Altos, Jalisco, from 100% blue agave, and rested in American oak. The Día de los Muertos engraving on the label is by the artist Steven Noble — the bottle is a large part of why this one sells.

Vanilla and caramel from the oak over bright highland agave, with grilled pineapple and a little pepper on the finish. Punches well above its price, and it is the bottle bartenders reach for when the margarita has to be good and cheap at once.
