Why we stock it

Made from 100% Japanese white rice, distilled in a pot and a column, then filtered through bamboo charcoal. Haku means white.

We stock it because rice gives it a faint sweetness that grain vodka does not have, and because Suntory's whiskies are three shelves away and this is the same house doing something almost nobody else does.

The name Haku means “white” in Japanese and refers to the Japanese white rice that is the origin of the liquid.
