Why we stock it

An añejo filtered back to clear, so it keeps the barrel character but arrives looking like a blanco.

We stock it because it is the most interesting thing happening in mainstream tequila, and because it genuinely confuses people in a blind pour, which is a decent recommendation on its own.

An añejo that has been filtered back to clear. Cristalino is a modern Mexican style: take the oak-aged spirit, strip the colour, and keep the weight — the result looks like a blanco and tastes like something much older.

Vanilla and toasted oak with a clean agave lift and no colour to warn you of it. A genuine conversation piece on a shelf, and an easy one to pour for someone who thinks they do not like tequila.
