Why we stock it

100% agave from Casa Herradura, named for the men who harvest the plants, and made to be mixed rather than admired.

We stock it because it is the everyday 100% agave bottle - no mixto shortcuts, no premium pricing, nothing to apologise for in a margarita.

Delivery Sydney metro. Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 2pm.

From Casa Herradura at Amatitán in Jalisco, made from 100% blue agave grown on the estate. It is named for the jimadores — the field workers who cut the agave by hand with a coa, a job that has not been mechanised in two centuries.

Crisp and herbal, with cooked agave, citrus and a clean peppery finish. One of the best-value 100% agave blancos on the shelf, and a serious step up from any mixto at a similar price.

    El Jimador Tequila Reposado

We stock it because it is the same sensible proposition as the Blanco with a little more weight, and because it is one of the few reposados at this price that is genuinely 100% agave.

    Olmeca Altos Plata Tequila 700ml

We stock it because it is number three in ALM's national tequila segment with 8.18% share, up from fourth last year. Tequila is the fastest-moving spirit category and this is the workhorse in it.
