Why we stock it

Distilled in Sydney from six different malted barleys rather than one, which is unusual anywhere and almost unheard of in Australia.

We stock it because it is made an hour from where we deliver, and because the multi-malt approach produces something that tastes deliberately built rather than merely aged.

Distilled in Sydney by Archie Rose, using a blend of malted barley varieties rather than a single one — including malts more usually found in brewing than in distilling. It is a deliberately unorthodox recipe, and the flavour is the argument for it.

Rich malt, chocolate and toasted grain, with stone fruit and warm baking spice from the oak. Distinctly Australian in style, and a fair measure of how far Sydney distilling has come.
