Why we stock it

The same idea as the Stout Edition, finished in craft IPA barrels instead, which brings citrus and a hop bitterness to the finish.

We stock it alongside the Stout because the pair make an unusually clear demonstration of what a cask finish actually does. Buy both and taste them next to the standard bottle.

The other half of the Caskmates idea: Jameson finished in barrels that previously held craft IPA, which pulls the whiskey in the opposite direction to the Stout Edition.

Citrus, floral hops and a crisp herbal edge over the usual Jameson sweetness, finishing drier and fresher than the standard bottling. Good over ice on a warm evening.
