Why we stock it

Twelve years old, forty different whiskies in the blend, and the most quietly competent bottle on the shelf. It works neat, over ice, and in a highball without falling apart.

We stock it because it is the most useful whisky most households can own, and because a blend that does three jobs well is worth more than a malt that does one.

Delivery Sydney metro. Same-day dispatch on orders placed before 2pm.

The blend that other blended Scotch is measured against: around forty malt and grain whiskies drawn from across Scotland, every one of them matured at least twelve years.

Soft smoke, vanilla, dried fruit and spice, layered rather than any one flavour dominating. Consistent to the point of being a fixed reference — a bottle that tastes the same in Sydney as it does in Speyside. Neat, over ice, or in a highball.

Johnnie Walker Double Black Blended Scotch Whisky

Black Label with the peat turned up - more smoke, more charred cask, and noticeably more assertive than its sibling. We stock both because Double Black is not simply the better one. It is the version for someone who already likes smoke, and Black Label is the version for everyone else at the same table.

Johnnie Walker 18 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky

We stock it because it makes the case for blending as a craft rather than a compromise. If someone believes blends are what you drink when you cannot afford malt, this is the bottle that changes their mind.
