Black Label with the peat turned up - more smoke, more charred cask, and noticeably more assertive than its sibling.

We stock both because Double Black is not simply the better one. It is the version for someone who already likes smoke, and Black Label is the version for everyone else at the same table.

Black Label with the smoke turned up: a higher proportion of West Coast and Island whiskies, matured in deeply charred casks, and carrying no age statement.

Heavier peat and ash than Black Label, with the same dried fruit and vanilla underneath. It sits between a standard blend and an Islay single malt, and is a useful bridge for anyone moving in that direction.
