A blended malt rather than a blended Scotch: three Speyside single malts and no grain whisky at all. The name comes from the shoulder injury maltmen once developed from turning barley by hand.

Vanilla, honey and orange zest, soft and round, with no smoke. It was built to be mixed, and it holds its shape in an Old Fashioned or a whisky sour better than most malts at the price.
